This Natural Enzyme Drain Cleaner is a 2X concentration of our natural drain cleaner formula. So, it’s not only a formula made to degrade all of the wastes that collect and adhere to the insides of drain lines, but it’s also a concentrated version of it.
Over time, wastes build up along pipes and constrict the flow of the pipe. As the pipe flow continues to restrict, the drains start draining slowly. Then, the slightest thing that falls into the sink can plug it up. Not only is that a major inconvenience, it’s also very costly to call in a plumber, in short notice, to unplug it.
While some people use harsh acid chemicals to try and burn away the wastes in their pipes, they are unfortunately exposing themselves to harm. Chemical products are harmful and toxic to humans. They can accidentally get on skin or get splashed into the eyes. There is also a real risk to children with these types of products in the household.
Aside from the dangers they pose to humans, they also harm the environment and can be detrimental to septic systems. They kill the beneficial bacteria in a septic tank, which can cause a system failure. In suburban areas with sewer systems, they are still harsh for the environment and can cause issues at the municipal treatment plant, downstream.
