Grease traps need to have their contents pumped out and removed from time to time and taken to an authorized waste facility to be disposed of properly. Between these waste removal visits, grease traps can fill up too quickly, causing an overflow. When a grease trap overflows, it causes expensive cleanup issues along with releasing extremely foul odors.
Our grease trap enzyme blocks contain a blend of beneficial Bacillus bacteria specifically chosen for their use in commercial grease traps. They contain a high concentration of selectively adapted beneficial Bacillus bacteria cultures that eliminate grease, oil, fat and other organic wastes. Our grease trap bacteria blocks are effective in a wide range of water temperatures (35°F – 110°F), wide range of pH levels (5.5 – 9.5), and wide range of dissolved oxygen levels (aerobic conditions and anaerobic conditions).

Each slow dissolving bacteria bio block has a net included for convenience. You can hang them in the trap so that they are suspended to attack both the grease mat on top and the sludge below simultaneously!
