This microbial formulation is designed for use specifically in the food processing industry. It is uniquely formulated to eliminate high levels of FOG (fats, oils & grease), BOD and organic solids in the presence of disinfectants and sanitizers commonly used in the food processing industry. This formulation is effective in improving the effluent discharge from the food processing plants, even when accompanied with low levels of harsh chemical contaminants.
DOSING:
The dosage requirements may change from application to application, depending on the level of waste contaminants, the type of wastewater system and the amount of influent and effluent through each system on a daily basis. The following dosing is a starting point. Exact dosage rates may need to be adjusted, based on the system you are treating. Apply product directly to the wastewater.
Days 1-3: Apply 25 lbs per million gallons of water flow, per day (per BOD of 250)
Days 3-7: Apply 12-15 lbs per million gallons of water flow, per day (per BOD of 250)
Maintenance: Apply 3-4 lbs per million gallons of water flow, per day (per BOD of 250)
