OUR 5-SPECIES BLEND OF BENEFICIAL POND BACTERIA:
Our 5-species blend of Bacillus (pond bacteria) formulation is an ALL-SEASON formula. Technically it is not a "cold water" blend, but it can be used Spring, Summer & Fall. As opposed to Microbe-Lift which seems to have a "special blend" for about everything possible. There may be actual merit to some of their "special" formulations, but it mostly seems to be marketing, and very confusing for Dealers and Consumers. So this is a major benefit of our formula - market it as an "All-Season Blend".
Also, our 5-species blend of pond bacteria works on cleaning the water column AND the bottom sludge. Some companies market a separate blend for both of these situations. And you can also sell the 1 oz blocks for bottom sludge and another one of our formulas for water clarity. But technically, they would be the same 5 Bacillus cultures in the formula, which clear water AND eliminate bottom sludge. So this should really help you simplify things further. The only "different" blends of bacteria (from this standard 5-species blend) is the pond bacteria that has been formulated into the liquid barley straw extract and the Nitro blend (Nitrosomonas & Nitrobacter cultures for Nitrification).
OUR TWO UNIQUE POWDER FORMULATIONS OF THE 5-SPECIES BLEND OF POND BACTERIA: DISSOLVABLE "NO-MESS" FORMULA:
This formula virtually completely dissolves instantly upon application, unlike many formulations in the industry (including Microbe-Lift's powder). These other industry standard bacteria formulas contain wheat bran and/or other "insoluble ingredients", which can cause the pond water to become cloudy when it's applied. Also, these ingredients can float on the surface of the water, which not only looks bad to the Consumer, but tempts the fish to eat them. These other ingredients can also clog filters and create a general overall "mess". In comparison, our no-mess formula dissolves almost instantly, eliminating all of the hassles and problems.
"2-IN-1" BARLEY STRAW FORMULA:
This formula combines the benefits of using pond bacteria and barley straw. This formulation eliminates the need for using other "barley products", such as unsightly bales of barley straw and/or barley straw pellets.
PRE-MEASURED DOSES OF THE POWDER FORMULATIONS OF POND BACTERIA:
Both powder formulations above are also available in pre-measured 1 oz water-soluble packets, which eliminate the measuring and guesswork when dosing. Each pre-measured packet treats 1000 gallons of pond water. Just add the packet directly to the water and it dissolves within minutes of application.
The dissolvable powder formulation above is also available in pre-measured 1 oz dissolvable blocks. This provides another unique dosing option for Consumers, and also allows the product to better treat the bottom of the pond since that is where the block sinks to. These blocks also provide a slow release of the bacteria, over a 6-8 hour time frame.
BARLEY STRAW EXTRACT:
Our liquid barley straw extract is the ONLY formulation in the marketplace that includes a high concentration (200 billion CFU/gallon) of beneficial pond bacteria formulated into the overall product. It is a true 2-in-1 formula, unlike anything out there.
ALL-IN-ONE WATER CONDITIONER:
Our All-In-One is truly the "Cadillac" of the Industry. It covers the FULL range of benefits needed for "conditioning" the water and reducing stress for the fish. It takes two (or more) of industry standard products to cover the full range of benefits that we do in our single formulation.
CONCENTRATED LIQUID FLOCCULANT:
Our concentrated liquid flocculant is one of the most concentrated flocculants in the Marketplace. Each fluid ounce of product treats 500 gallons.
ALL-NATURAL PHOSPHATE BINDER:
This formulation is very unique. It offers an ALL-NATURAL replacement for ALUM (aluminum sulfate). It offers other benefits as well, such as buffers pH, adds approximately 70 beneficial trace minerals, offers minor flocculation of mud & clay particles, and indirectly helps to reduce toxic ammonia.
CONCENTRATED LAKE DYE:
This formulation contains NO yellow dye, so will not give the unsightly "green" appearance to the water that other industry standard dyes do. Also, each CONCENTRATED QUART of our blue dye contains approximately 80% of the amount of dye found in the industry standard GALLONS of dye. This means you can offer our concentrated quarts as virtually a direct replacement to the industry standard gallons.
