CassCo offers two formulations of beneficial pond bacteria for use in large ponds, aquaculture ponds, koi ponds, water garden ponds and aquariums:
2-in-1 Barley Straw Formula:
This formulation combines the benefits of using both barley straw and beneficial pond bacteria. It contians a blend of five species of pond bacteria and a pulverized barley straw powder, eliminating the need for unsightly bales of barley.
Dissolvable Formula:
This formulation provides the same blend of five beneficial pond bacteria, but offers it as a "no-mess" powder. This formulation is ideal for koi ponds, water garden ponds, aquariums and aquaculture applications, as it does not leave behind floating particles.

Removes organic bottom-sludge (muck) caused from fish wastes, excess fish food, decaying plants, grass clippings, leaves, etc.
DOSING:
For Larger Ponds & Lakes:
Apply 4 pounds of powder per surface acre every 2-4 weeks.
For Koi Ponds & Water Garden Ponds:
Apply 1 oz. of powder per 1,000 gallons every 2-4 weeks.
