This formulation contains a blend of Nitrosomonas & Nitrobacter cultures. These beneficial pond bacteria will reduce levels of toxic Ammonia and Nitrite in aquatic environments such as Koi Ponds, Water Garden Ponds and Aquariums. They will also facilitate and speed up the nitrification process in ponds. Ideal conditions for applying this formulation are when water temperatures are below 86°F, pH is between 7.2 and 7.8, BOD levels are below 300 ppm, and the dissolved oxygen level is below 1 ppm.

DOSING (PONDS):

Water Gardens & Koi Ponds:

Add 2-4 fluid ounces per 1000 gallons of pond water, every 1-2 weeks.

Larger Ponds & Lakes:

Add 2-4 gallons per million gallons of pond water, every 2-4 weeks.

Aquaculture Ponds:

Add 2-4 gallons per million gallons of pond water, every 2-4 weeks.

 
DOSING (WASTEWATER TREATMENT):
 
Equalization Tanks & Primary Clarifiers:

Add 3 gallons per million gallons of flow per day, to reduce Ammonia and Nitrites. Apply for 30 days or until Nitrification occurs, then reduce the application rate to 1 ½ gallons per million gallons of flow per day.

Aeration Tanks & Oxidation Tanks:

Add 1 gallon per million gallons of flow per day, for Nitrification. Apply for 30 days or until Nitrification occurs, then reduce the application rate to ½ gallon per million gallons of flow per day.

RBC’s:

Add 1 gallon per million gallons of flow per day, for Nitrification. Apply for 30 days or until Nitrification occurs, then reduce the application rate to ½ gallon per million gallons of flow per day.

Secondary Clarifiers:

Add 1 gallon per million gallons of flow per day, for Nitrification. Apply for 30 days or until Nitrification occurs, then reduce the application rate to ½ gallon  per million gallons of flow per day.

Digestors, Sludge Tanks:

Add 2 gallons per million gallons of flow per day, for Nitrification. Apply for 30 days or until Nitrification occurs, then reduce the application rate to 1 gallon  per million gallons of flow per day.
