Rain Rot Treatment
Rain Rot Treatment:

Rain Rot, also called Rain Scald, is an anaerobic bacterial infection, which is usually caused by wet conditions. This infection requires the absence of oxygen to live and spread. When a horse develops rain rot, it will develop a series of crusty scabs and/or matted or raised tufts of hair. If the tufts of hair are removed, usually pink skin laced with pus will be visible. This infection is contagious and generally transmitted by shared horse tack, such as blankets or mutual rubbing posts, etc. This formulation is designed to work continuously in wet conditions. It is unquestionably the strongest and safest product available.
